Lakiesha Edwards—known professionally as KieshaThaCreator—is the visionary Founder and CEO of Creative Empire LLC, a multi-dimensional creative company built entirely from scratch. Her journey began long before the business existed—at age twelve, when she found her voice not through speaking, but through poetry. Quiet, introspective, and observant, she wrote everywhere she could: on scraps of paper, notebooks, schoolwork—rhyming words, pouring out thoughts, expressing emotions she didn’t yet have the courage to say out loud.

That early spark grew into a lifelong creative calling. A turning point came when she submitted her poems to Poetry Nation and began receiving certificates for her work. Soon after, her poems were featured on their platform. By 2019, her writing had earned her recognition from Eber & Wein Publishing, who honored her as one of their Best Poets, placing her work in multiple national anthologies—a distinction she continued to receive year after year.

In 2021, driven by her love for words, she set out to write her first book. Without industry knowledge, connections, or a built-in following, she discovered how difficult traditional publishing could be. Yet one established author, Shvonne Latrice, took a chance on her and published her first three-book series—an opportunity that validated her talent and opened the path toward authorship.

From there, her creativity expanded into visual art. Her abstract paintings caught the attention of editors and were published in Thimble Literary Magazine, further solidifying her as a multi-disciplinary creative artist.

Determined to control her creative destiny, Lakiesha spent a full year studying the craft of writing, mastering every stage of editing, and learning the entire publishing process. She founded Kiesha’s Publications & Productions, where she published her own works and began helping other writers—editing, coaching, and publishing their books for free, remembering what it felt like to need help with no one willing to offer it.

Her passion for film led her to screenwriting school, where she graduated and wrote multiple scripts. Her psychological thriller NO NEW FRIENDS became an award-winning screenplay, securing Best Script, multiple Official Selections, and earning her recognition as Best Screenwriter in international festivals. She later developed full EPKs, branding, and pitch materials for her film, further expanding her footprint in the entertainment industry.

To support struggling writers, she created THE PROCESS, an educational platform offering workshops, workbooks, journals, and guided support for emerging authors trying to find their voice. She has become a mentor for creatives navigating writing blocks, mental overload, and the challenges of self-publishing.

Her impact did not go unnoticed. Lakiesha was honored with induction into Marquis Who’s Who 2024–2025, a prestigious recognition reserved for leaders making significant contributions in their fields.
